Load and Material Restrictions

BSS Waste cannot accept hazardous materials, tires, batteries, and Freon operated appliances. Other restrictions associated with recycling loads are as follows:

Concrete, Brick, Block

Material must be loaded into a 20 cubic yard container and must be within legal load limits of 11 tons. Loads must be clean and not mixed with trash and other C & D materials.

Stumps and Brush

Stumps can not be over 12 inches in diameter. Brush can be accepted as long as it is not mixed.

Wood

Plywood, treated lumber, and OSB are currently not accepted at recycling facilities

Metals

Currently all iron and metals are accepted.

Paper Products and Cardboard

Currently all paper products and cardboard can be loaded together.
